Spurs are eyeing a move for Leicester City midfielder Demarai Gray
Spurs are looking to make a move for Demarai Gray this summer as his contract comes to an end.
Gray signed for Leicester on a four-and-a-half year deal from Birmingham in 2016 for a fee of £3.7m.
The Foxes winger has failed to make a huge impact since signing when expectations were high.
Rodgers has previously said that Gray is an excellent player and has a part to play at City.
The Leicester manager was quoted saying “he’s got wonderful talent” who “can dribble, and can do everything” in June 2020.
He went on to say that Gray “needed to provide more chances and assists and show greater intensity“, but he does want him to stay.
Demarai has shown at times that he has what it takes to be a regular starter for the Foxes but his form seems to be short lived.
With three league starts and 16 substitute appearances this season maybe Rodgers sees Gray as an impact player from the bench.
With Spurs having their sights set on the winger, should the Foxes sign him on new contract or let him leave?
