Hatem Ben Arfa confirms he wants to play in the Premier League next season with Leicester City favourites
The Frenchman has revealed he will leave Paris Saint-Germain in the summer as he nears a Premier League return with the Foxes winning the race for his signature.
The 31-year-old has failed to impress at the Ligue 1 club since joining from Nice in 2016, and is set to become a free agent at the end of the campaign.
Posting on Instagram in an emotional post Ben Arfa conceded his adventure at Parc des Princes has come to an end.
He said: “Soon it is the end of my adventure at PSG. “Despite the difficult times, I am happy to have worn this jersey.
“I will keep wonderful memories with my teammates and through this message I want to take the opportunity to thank the many supporters. “I will always like this club.”
Claude Puel has taken the opportunity to sign Ben Arfa who is now favorite to join Leicester City in the summer on a free transfer.
Hatem played under Claude Puel spending a year playing with French side Nice and is happy to reunite with the Foxes boss.
Ben Arfa enjoyed an impressive season in the south of France, contributing 17 goals and five assists in 32 league games.
Puel will look for a replacement for Algerian star Riyad Mahrez who is set to leave this summer.
So It may only be a matter of months before the pair are reunited again.
