Leicester City’s new training facilities are set to cost an estimated £80m
Concept images show off City’s plans to build one of the best training facilities in Britain, and will even challenge the worlds greatest.
The new location on Park Hill Golf Club is an 18-hole par-73 course has a maximum yardage of 7,222, which is the largest in the County.
It is thought that Leicester will keep some holes for players and staff at the club.
The new complex seriously is breathtaking, and will even have:
- spectator toilets
- an elevated camera platform
- 12 full size football pitches
- six part size grass pitches
- two goalkeeper areas
- one attacking area
- five warm up and technical training areas

Speaking earlier this year about the training ground move Leicester owner Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha said:
‘The club has experienced an extraordinary rate of growth in the last seven years and keeping the Leicestershire community at the heart of that growth has been and will continue to be a fundamental principle of our vision,’ he said.
‘The new training ground is a truly exciting phase of our development and a once-in-a-generation opportunity to demonstrate our ambition.
‘We want to invest in the best possible training facilities to develop and attract the world’s elite sporting talent to Leicester and to give them a competitive edge in a game that is constantly evolving.
