Danny Ward is on the verge of being a City player after Liverpool accept bid
Ward will be allowed to join the Foxes once the deal to take Alisson to Anfield has been finalised. The deal is worth a mouthwatering £69m and is a world record fee for a goalkeeper.
Ward played a key part of the Huddersfield Town side that sealed promotion to the Premier League in 2017.
Since joining Liverpool he has only made two senior appearances, with one being the defeat against the Foxes in September 2017.
Swansea were the latest team linked with Danny Ward this summer, but the Foxes seem to have won over the Welshman.
Ward was due to feature for Liverpool in their friendly against Blackburn tonight but he has missed this due to talks over his future to Leicester.
The move to the King Power Stadium has raised talks on the departure of Danish international Kasper Schmeichel.
Chelsea are favourites to sign Leicester’s number one as it is likely that Thibaut Courtois is on his way to Real Madrid.

It’s almost time for the new season and of course the weekly footy accumulators!
