Olivier Giroud scores a dramatic late winner to earn them the points which leaves the Foxes leaving London with nothing.

Leicester twice took the lead after going 1-0 down to make it look like a successful night for the boys in blue.

However Arsene Wenger substituted Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud onto the pitch to add the final nails into Leicester’s coffin to leave the Foxes devestated.

Arsenal scored two goals within as many minutes to win the opener of the season.

Apart from the result there were many positives for the Foxes with Vardy being back to his usual 2015/16 Premier League winning season scoring a brilliant brace.

Matty James also got a runout since his injury two years ago, leaving Leicester with many positives to take away from this game.

Craig Shakespeare has been questioned on his substitution when Leicester were winning by bringing new-boy Kelechi Iheanacho on the pitch to replace a midfielder.

However there is a long way to go in the season and from last nights showing the Foxes do have what it takes to compete again at the highest level.
