Leicester City boss Craig Shakespeare set to make two more signings before the end of the transfer window

City boss Craig Shakespeare is said to want to make a couple more additions to the Leicester squad before the transfer window ends.

The Foxes have made contact with atleast four players who would all add benefits to the squad.

1.RYAN SHAWCROSS

Shawcross is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back and Stoke’s captain. Ryan has played for Stoke since 2008 making 306 appearances and scoring 14 goals. He has played a huge part in Stoke’s defence and has experience playing with Leicester’s Robert Huth.

2. YACINE BRAHIMI

Algerian international and FC Porto Attacking Midfielder Brahimi is another player on Craig’s shortlist. Leicester have recently sent scouts to Porto to watch Brahimi who is experienced at international level and playing in the Champions League.

Brahimi links up well with Foxes Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimini at international level and would be a great addition to the Foxes for a fee of around £15-£16m.

3. ANDROS TOWNSEND

He is an English professional footballer who plays as a winger for Crystal Palace and the England national team.

Townsend started his career at Spurs at youth level and has made 50 appearances in the first team. He has spent many years out on loan at different clubs including Newcasatle, Watford QPR and Birmingham. Recently he has struggled to get into the Palace team but we believe Craig Shakespeare has what it takes to get the best out of him.

4. CHRIS SMALLING

Out of favour centre-back Chris Smalling is hot on Leicester’s radar.

The experienced defender has made 153 appearances for Manchester United scoring 7 goals. Smalling has also made 31 appearances at senior level so would be a welcomed addition to the squad.

For £16m Smalling would be a steal and is just what Leicester are after.

Any of the above will be a welcomed addition to the squad to help push Leicester to as high as the table as possible.
