FOXES AND ENGLAND STAR SET TO SIGN NEW BUMPER CONTRACT
HARRY MAGUIRE is set to sign a new bumper contract after agreeing to stay with the Foxes at the end of the summer transfer window.
The England star was hot property after the World Cup following his stand out performances.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was confident that he could convince Maguire to join the famous footballing giants, but it wasn’t to be the case.
United were willing to offer £65m for the stand-out England performer.
Harry signed from Hull for a fee of £17m last summer, and has easily trebled his value.
After his World Cup heroics he hasn’t changed as a person and isn’t letting his recent successes go to his head.
“He didn’t change, and it was important he didn’t change after his fantastic World Cup,” said Puel. “It’s always difficult for a young player like Harry to come back and to come back with a good mentality, good focus and concentration.
Harry has dedicated his future to the Foxes and it is being reported that very soon he will sign a new contract worth almost £80,000 per week.
If the centre-back puts pen to paper he will follow Jamie Vardy, Wilfred Ndidi and Kasper Schmeichel in committing his future to Leicester City.
The future is looking bright for the Foxes.
