Next season the Foxes will be bringing back a familiar face
It’s good news for some Foxes fans as the Italian legend who guided the Foxes to their first Premier League season will return for the 2018/19 season.
City owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has been uninspired by Claude Puel and a lot of Leicester fans have been venting their anger of the “boring” style of football he has the team playing.
Puel had been criticised for a perceived tedious style at Southampton last season, where they scored just 17 times at home.
The Foxes faithful have taken to Twitter to vent their anger:
Dread to think how boring we'll be next season with that tosspots Puel in charge. #boringbastardmanager

What a boring way to play football. Slow slow sideways and back. Puel has sucked the positivity and energy out of our football club….. and the crowd too. #LCFC

Can see why Southampton sacked puel now though negative and very boring to watch

If Leicester lose today against Bournemouth then puel should go.#lcfc he’s playing boring football. Never look like winning another game.

Vichai has now had enough and has been in secret meetings with the experienced Italian and has confirmed a return at the end of the season where he will be given a full summer to strengthen the squad.
In an interview about returning to Leicester Ranieri has said that
I am excited by the opportunity of returning with Leicester and i’m looking forward to spending the massive £200m that the owners are willing to give me. I have also missed the incredible party’s held by Jamie Vardy.
Ranieri has also said in a recent interview that he has “unfinished business” and is “glad to be returning home”.
The target for the 2018/19 season which has been agreed by the owners is to finish within the top 4 and go further than the last Champions League effort which seen Leicester knocked out at Quarter-Final stage.
Welcome back Claudio, we are excited about your return to the mighty Leicester City.
